Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

I recently took my vehicle to the Pep Boys location at 9880 Roosevelt Blvd on Red Lion for the first time, and I could not be happier with the excellent customer service and honest auto mechanics. I brought my car in for its annual State Inspection and a routine oil change. Jamal who was working the Service Desk on that Thursday, was so pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and had extremely impressive customer service skills. I will continue to go to this Pep Boys for all my car care needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not go here unless u want to waste all your money and be lied to!! Make an appointment too late in the day, they lie about having the parts they need. Too early in the day, they still "haven't ordered the part". $600+ including $160 in labor (according to mechanic friend is 30 mins and 3 screws) for parts that cost $60 and $30. Where does the other $350 come into play? Every time I've gone for an oil change, an estimate comes to $1000 each time.

Was redirected here from the Pep Boys in Bensalem off of Street Rd (that store is closed and nobody works there anymore but the website still lets you schedule appointments), that's out of this store's control. What they can control is their service which I had a horrible time with. I dropped my car off at 8am for my 8:30am appointment for a check engine light coming on. They said they would call me about service. At 5pm I called them, and they said that it hasn't been looked at yet (they were not busy when I dropped it off when they opened and only had 1 car in the bay from what I assume was an overnight). I was told that it wouldn't get looked at until the next day so …

Horrible experience, wasted time and money, 6 hours spent for balancing. I requested alignment and balancing and after 6 hours their technician was not able to work because he clocked out. And they don’t even bother to apologize. I would never go to any pep boys ever again. Honestly go to dealership they would probably charge less than them and work better.

At this location, they will let you book an appointment for state inspection, come all the way to the store, just to tell you that they don’t have an inspector! The guy at the front desk didn’t even apologize or offer to reschedule the appointment. He just didn’t give a rats ass! Total BS avoid this store.
